I get the following error frequently.
"The keyboard driver specified by the KEYBOARD=line in the [386Enh] section of the SYSTEM.INI file is incompatible with the current version of Windows. To correct the problem, run Windows Setup again."
This occurs when a DOS window needs to be opened, by me or even an Application install or virus update.
If I try to open a DOS window just after rebooting, it does not occur. This is how I get around it.
Everything associated with keyboard in the system.ini file is perfect ( I compared it to other PC's).
I think this started after I tried installing an HP keyboard that had special keys (Installed their software). I then removed the keyboard and software.
I have tried deleting the keyboard and having windows then detect it.
