Crap! I was working on a 4.0 to 4.1(via the upgrade tool)to 6.1 upgrade. My system defaulted.

Now, being the pesimistic tech that I am, I did write down all of the system programming before I started. That won't be too much trouble to put back in.

HOWEVER, what do I do about my PRI keycodes?? Any suggestions? I see that my System ID changed.

I think I messed up big.

Help.

The only way to recover key codes is get a Nortel authorized vendor to re-genreate them for you via the KRS system at the Nortel site.

I dont know what went wrong but seems like you did it right but hear stories of systemn ID changing on certain upgrades.

What I would have done:
Upgrade to 4.1
then Upgrade to 6.1

What tool did

I contacted a authorized agent. They couldn't get the keycodes to regenerate through the Nortel site.

I've got calls into the place I got the software upgrade and before that - the PRI keycode, but no one is there or reachable this weekend.

The system went from 24 lines down to 1. Think the customer will notice??

Thanks for your help.

Oh, and I went from 4.0 to 4.1 using the upgrade tool. When the display said to insert the MICS card, I powered down, unplugged cables, inserted card, and powered up. Then the display (after requisite flashing and such) went to Jan 1.
Grrrrrrr.
