We purchased a used switch. It's not all clean on the inside though.

It says:
PT2000

REQ slt
TNS 1500 LEFT 835 USED 665
ACDN 1000 LEFT 990 USED 10
AST 800 LEFT 800 USED 0
LTID 96 LEFT 96 USED 0
DCH 255 LEFT 254 USED 1
AML 16 LEFT 15 USED 1
IDLE_SET_DISPLAY ÄÕÎΠÁÉÒ
ACD AGENTS 400 LEFT 400 USED 0
BRI DSL 50 LEFT 39 USED 11
INTERNET TELEPHONES 0 LEFT 0 USED 0

There's a pile of phone's still configured in the system. I spent some time and cleared the names out of LD95, but now I need to figure what TN's all those other phone's are configured at. I have TN's 28 0 1 thru 5 configured with analog and digital cards and that's all that should be on there.

I'm thinking most of these TN's configured are for cards that don't exist in the system. I'd like to do some cleanup of some of the old configuration.

Thanks,
Buster

When I get stuck in this situation I usually print a CFN, CDB, RDB, LTM, DNB and then a TNB and remove all but the mermail (if there is mermail) before I configure anything new.

best way to go, i print a tnb, build a quick script and delete all non working phones. inv generate all in ld 117, will locate all unav digital sets. also check acd's cdn rdb's trunks, unused trunks routes loops etc. a switch that size could take a day or 2 to clean out by hand. an hour or do to do a install on and install the default cdb.. either way, if you don't clean it out, you'll be chasing ghost forever

you can reinstall trougth menu install one default database.

that would be the fastest, i like to do a parallel on a switch after a clean up anyway, just blows away any incomplete files, minor coruption etc

Ughh, yup. It's looking like starting from scratch will be the best way to cleanup.

Thanks,

Buster

that would be my choice, to easy to program, to hard to chase ghost
