I have a sysprep image saved as zenworks imaging .zmg.

I can blow the image onto one partition and the sysprep works fine.
If i try to blow this image onto one partion e.g c:\leaving the other partition alone d:\ it fails. Sysprep kicks in but then a windows message appears saying shutdown and a registry failure.

If i use ghost 8 it works fine. Can anyone explain why zenworks would do this?

Could it be because the image is a disk rather than a partition image?? sure it may just be the c: partition but it will try to blow the image back to the entire disk and want's to delete the existing partition?

Also it could be because the other partition isn't an active partition so won't allow it to work??

I always prefer to use a dedicated imaging util rather than anything Zen has.. always causes some problems (delete NAL Cache files so that we can refresh Apps because they don't work properly if we don't delete the cache files).

Good luck

Just a word of thought, I have found that in my dealings anything to do with Novell in regards to Windows is problematic. Through experience I have found if I got something to do Windows then use anything windows other than Novell to do it. Just my opinion.
