Hi,

I can log in as sys from my server (AIX) but not from my pc - any idea how to fix this?

Thanks.

More details? Error message?

It just tells me insufficient privileges, with SQL, and OEM. When I am on the server I can log in as SYS as SYSDBA through sqlplus. Remotely I can log in as SYSTEM or other users but thats it. No SYS.

Sounds like it's something to do with the PWDsid file on the server or the initialization parameters that go with it.

I can't remember the the exact settings but they are documented in the 9.2 online docs.

HTH

Steve
