We have 3 salespeople who will have the same contacts shared (same business unit). In CRM 3.0, if you select your contacts in Outlook, then click on track in CRM, the contacts will get created in CRM and any changes made in Outlook OR CRM, will get sync'd.
What happens if these same contacts are in another person's Outlook contacts? If they do the Track in CRM, won't it create duplicates? If they do not do the Track in CRM, how would they syn changes when done in Outlook? Ie if they just use the sync function, it only syncs changes from CRM TO OUtlook and not visa versa. The reason we need to do all the changes in OUtlook's contacts is because our salespeople all have blackberries and we do NOT want to have to put the CRM mobile on it. It's simple enough with the blackberry enterprise.
If the contacts have already been added to CRM, how does the other user's contacts get syncrozied?
Any suggestions would be awesome! CRM 3.0. Not CRM 4.0.
