Synchronize via button. Can this be done?

Hi

I am trying to allow users to syncronize their replica with the design master via a button instead of it being necesary to alow them acces to the access menus.

When the button i created runs it says it can't syncronize the replica because an object is open?

Does this mean you can't so it this way? Surely there is a way for users to syncronize without them having full access the the dropdown menus?

Any help greatly appreciated?

Allow users to synch with the design master when they feel like it? Are you sure you want that? What if you are working on the design master doing testing of new functionality and such. Meanwhile, a user decides to activate the design master synch?

Keep the design master out of the synch process except when you want to push out updates. Have the replication manager keep the replicas synch'd amongst eachother.
