I am running Outlook 98 at work connected to an Exchange server and I'm dialing in from home via RAS using Outlook 98. It appears that if I log in from home, all of the messages in my Inbox are sucked into my PC at home and removed from the Inbox at work. What a pain! Any suggestions?

Right Click on your outlook icon, and select properties
then select the Profile that you are using at home.
then slecect properties for exchange server
click on the Delivery Tab.
Make sure that the "Deliver mail to the following location"
box shows your mailbox name on the server.
I will bet that it is set to deliver your mail to a local PST file.

I paid Microsoft their $35 fee to get the answer to this one. It is indeed that you have mail on your home system being delivered to a local folder instead of your user mailbox. Make sure that both versions of Outlook, your home copy and your office copy, are delivering mail to the same location and the problem should go away. It did for me.
