I bought SK99 when I started using a Palm Pilot, but now I want to go back to SK98 to make use of the report features. I seem to remember vaguely that SK98 cannot sync with multiple address books and that all the Palm books are lumbered together into one designated SK file. Is there any way around this? - maybe SK98 & SK99 sharing the same files or something similar?

Dear amboman
You can have the same
Cardfiles/Calendars/Memos/Expenses
open in Sdk95, Sdk98 and SDK99 Just DON'T have the programs running at the same time.
Regards Jim

Thanks Jim, I have set up both SK98 & 99 and when I open up my SK98 calendar in SK 99 it converts it to a new format and saves a backup. However, when I go back to 98 and open up the 99 calendar, nothing I entered in 99 appears. Am I missing something?

Regards,

Kym

Dear amboman,
Whoops, I apologise,
:-(
I leapt in there without thinking.
You are right I had forgotten about SDK99 converting the format, I still mainly use SDK98 as the Card Logs are still in that and you can use Phone fields/URL launching from the Cardfiles..
Anyone else got any Ideas?
Short of using SDK98 mainly and keeping the cardfiles open in SDK99 for Tr/f purposes...
Regards Jim

Hi again,

With a lot more fiddling I am starting to wonder whether it can be done easily. I set up 99 to sync the card files (turning off calendar sync) and then tried to set up the sync with 98 for the calendar. Truesync seemed to get confused as to what program it was trying to sync to and will not allow me to configure (all boxes in the setup are grayed out).

Dear amboman,
Can you do the above in two separate sessions? Or could keeping the Cardfiles and the Calendar in the same Folder help?
Try to SaveAs the SDK98 Calendar in the SDK99 Folder.
Worth a try anyway.
Regards Jim
