sync with palm

Hi, is there a way to sync great plains with palm?
For example, I want to have all the customer names in my palm.

The only app that syncs with the palm in Time&Expense. The palm syncs with Outlook. If you don't use MS CRM, you could export your customers from Smartlist into Outlook, then sync your contacts to your palm.

If you are only interested in customer contact info, Luvsql's method would probably be the cheapest and easiest.

However, if you are looking for more advanced sychronization with a Palm, you could create a custom application. Is there other information you would like available on your Palm?

Yes, this is possible but I am not aware of an off-the-shelf product to do this sort of thing.

You would probably need to have a custom application developed to do this. Do you have an internal development staff or does your VAR provide these services? If you are in need of someone to develop a custom application, you can contact me to discuss the project.

--> I am not aware of any. If anyone else knows of something like this, please post what you kkow.

By the way, how do I export my customers to outlook?
--> You will need to first do an export of your customers using the Smart List. Then from Outlook, open your address book, and select File --> Import --> Other Address Book. You will have to play with the file type / formatting and fields to get it to import correctly.
