Symposium Web Client add agent

An agent was added in classic client but does not show up in agent list or real time reports on web client. I tried to add the agent in web client but got the message "a user with login 24535 already exists. So I deleted the agent in classic client and was then able to add him using web client. Now he doesn't show up in classic client (users & real time reports) and can't be added. Any ideas as to what causes this and how to fix?
 
What Service Update do you use and what Symposium release? Might be a bug that is fixed in a SU for Symposium Webclient. What is your Webclient Version?

I had similar problems regarding the webclient, most of them where fixed by using the latest webclient version and ionstalling the SU patches on symposium.

Has the agent been added to the appropriate partitions?

We've had similar problems in the past with data varying between the classic and web clients. The usual resolution..? You guessed it, reboot!
 
Thanks for the input! Web Client is 4.5 (SU04). SCCS is 5.0 (SU_04_S with supplements 0401, 0402, 0403). SCCS and web are running co-resident on the same server.
I tried a reboot without success.
I found a thread that described problems if the sysadmin password in sccs didn't match the sysadmin password in webclient configuration. I thought they were the same but I changed webclient password to make sure they matched. This did not resolve problem.
When I add partitions in agent users details under contact center management I get a successfully saved message however when you go back and look at the agent all of the partitions are blank. If I edit partions and try to add the agent I get the partition properties could not be updated. I've tried this logged in as webadmin and also with an id that has an admin access class.
I just now logged in as webadmin, deleted the agent, and added him back. Still can't add him to a partition.
Other agents can be added to partitions.
I may just go ahead and delete him and add him back using a different agent id but I would like to know what is causing this issue.

i would check for patches. we run web 4.5 su_06 and just had to load a patch for something similar. We are running co-redsident also.
 
I had the same problem, this is fixed by installing SUS601 for Webclient 4.5
 
I finally got Webclient patch installed and that corrected the problems.
