Other than BT, who else is there in the UK that can give Symposium support (down to hardware level).

From what I have been told about the UK. Nortel and BP have an exclusive agreement. We tried to do some work with a couple of our sites in the UK with out vendor from the US. Boy what a mess that turned out to be. Sorry.

Try Kingston.
Have used them before and they were no worse than BT

It's not getting any smarter out there. You have to come to terms with stupidity, and make it work for you.

Thanks for the information. I will keep them in mind the next time we need assistance oversees.

Try Fusion Four (fft at fusiontelecom dot co dot uk)

I believe TMG (Telephone Maintainance Group) may do it, but never tried them out.
Trouble is, if your Meridian is maintained by one vendor and symposium by another then they just blame each other. It's bad enough that they blame everything else as it is (router, switch, leaves on the line etc)

Stu..

Only the truly stupid believe they know everything.
