Does anyone run the Web client connecting to a unicast network rather than multicast ?
What are the issues if any ?

We run two sites with unicast between them. The only issue we are aware of is that you cannot veiw both sites form one web client session. You need to log into both sites to veiw realtime displys on separate windows. Supervisor/managers need to have profiles set up on both sites to manage network skillsets.

We also have two sites where users need to see what is happening in the other site (apparently).

We have both unicast (for the 'other' site) and multicast (for the 'home' site) enabled.

Works fine

I was told that you only needed to have Multicast on between the Symposium Server and the Web Client Server, so we turned on Multicast for a small network segment just for those kind of applications. We have the rest of our network set up on Unicast and it is working fine.
