Symposium real-time statistics refresh rate

We have a symposium Call center, and the refresh rate is set to 2 seconds,we have 3 clients, with 3 GRTD (graphic realt time display) software. Besides, somebody designed a software to take the real time statistics to a display mounted on the wall.
The problem is that sometimes the refresh rate varies from 2 to 4 or 8 seconds.

what could be causing this variation?

The refresh rate is set to 2 seconds in the Real-time statistics configuration and in the properties of the different Real-time display you use ?

Maybe the interval is too short, try 5 seconds.

I set the agent refresh rate to 2 and the others to 10, besides I did not checked IVR Statistics and Route Statistics in the Real Time Stat. Config., since I was not using them.
Since then I havent had any troubles.
