Hi

We are running symposium / contact centre 6 - we have an issue with one user getting "no data" when they open real time reporting

This user (user A) works in office B and the server is located in office A and connects over the WAN and connects using unicast

Real time displays work fine for user B who is also in office B!

We also have other users in other offices that use RTD with no problems.

Can anyone offer any further advise?

I feel it must be something on the PC stopping it from working - she has had two PC's - one XP and one W7 and gets problem on both

Things we have checked:
Windows firewall on client
Server checked by maintainer
Packet capture from server and client shows UDP packets being sent from server and being recievied on client
PC Swapped out
Network port changed
Tried compressing real time data on server
Increased OMA timeout to max on server

Sorry to make it more clear this is regarding RTR - real time reporting

We use unicast and multicast

As this user is in a remote office they are using unicast

We had this issue too and I had the user use the IP address of the server versus using the name in the browser.

Example use 10.1.1.10 instead of typing ccma01

I don't know what to tell you about it except that the ccma server must have some sort of host/dns related issue/bug

If that doesn't work I am not really sure what else to have you try.

Have you checked the partitions to ensure that the failing user is set up correctly?

If it worked before then stopped you need to log into the CCMS goto start control panel administration tools then services. You will need to restart CCMS_ICEServices, CCMS_RDC, and CCMS_SDP Services.

It could also just be the version of IE they are using. CCMA is really only compatible with IE7 at the greatest I believe. So if they are using IE8 with XP or IE9 with Win7 that could be the issue. I just talked to my vendor about this again because the Director's machine had this issue again. Basically nothing can be done as she was using IE8.

Thanks for your replies - our problem turned out to indeed be with IE - we had to add the URL to the our trusted sites list
