Symposium help

When loggin into a machine with symposium on it I get a error "Unable to connect to the Symposium server". But i can ping the Symposium server and I can log into the SMI workbench. Any ideas?

what do you mean you can log into SMI Workbench?

do you have more details about the problem?
- is this new client install?
- was it working before?
etc.

at the moment I think it could be your firewall blocking the connection with symposium. But, it's just a wild guess.

I figured it out. It was Symantec blocking it.
