Hello

10/27/2004
I have been advise to out and rebuild an ip
phone for a acd user on the pbx side
I have been told its been de-aquired
on the symposium side and outed.
but when I print this phone out on the
switch , it looks like its just de-aquired
and not outed. When I stat this phone
it reads ---idle registered..should I be
concerned. Or is there just a time
frame that it take for the PBX to see that
it is outed from the symposium side.

The AACS appears Yes -so I think it may be de-aquired
but not completely outed on the symposium side.
I checked this morning on the PBX and it still appears to
be just de-aquired

help

since the phone is de acquired, it will be safe to ld 32 disu x x x x, ld 11 new and put it back in, the ast prompt will need to match other acd phones and other then that agn in the class and the keys are about all it takes...

thanks for your reply,
I have a letter from Nortel product Bulletin stating it
needs to be out in symposium first (not only de-aquired)
if we do not totally out this first
but out totally, or this can cause corruption.

I was
initally told that that de-aquiring was enough do the disabling in LD 20 and then make a change and start the process over again until all changes were made.

Have you seen this bulletin stated 6/2001

haven't seen anything on having it removed from the symposium before changes but i do as a habit nul key 0, making it a non acd phone before outing it, i have gotten away with that 100's of time but it's not that diff to delete it from the server 1st...

ths again for your imput for outing acd
on the pbx side....that was my next question
and that makes sense.

The administrator for the symposium
rebuild and outed on his side to
the same avail, we are in contact with
a higher power/the vendor anyways
i will tell what the out come is if
and when

thanks....

unlike the constitution, not all vendors are created equal..

techgrl2,

There is a newer bulletin out that you might want to take a look at -- P-2004-0345-Global "Supported modifications on a phone set acquired by Symposium Call Center Server or Symposium Express Call Center." It covers specific actions, which is helpful. If you need a copy let me know and I can email.

sandyml => very good !

Exactly, keep always in mid, when changing an acd set contolled by SCCS.

When you like to change any key with acd function or an scr key : FIRST : DEAQUIRE it from SCCS, then change it in the M1 !

Change in CLS, NCOS, SSU..., you didn't have to deaquire first !
