FYI...If you review the latest SCCS Service Pack/Hotfix .xls from Nortel, it says that Windows 2003 SP1 is acceptable for a Co-Resident server. If you have the Server Application CD-ROM Version 5.00.00 Revision 5, the platform compliance check still wants to see Windows 2003 SP0, and will fail the install. You will have to re-load the OS minus the service pack. Has anyone seen a later Revision of the Server Application CD for 5.0? The install I am currently working on, using the CD listed above, was ordered from Nortel 24 Nov 2005. There isn't a way that I can see, or at least have access to, on Nortel's web-site, to download later software.

Supposedly if you have SU 0505 it will let you install with SP1. I am going to do an install this week. I will post again and let you know if it works or not. Nortel says it will, but I won't believe it until I try it.

The Server Supplementary CD has SU 0505 on it, which was
included with the software order. I am told by a Nortel Engineer that I am working with on an open case for another customer that SU06 has just been released. I just verified that by going to the Nortel ESPL. I will have to read up on it to see how it may pertain to this installation problem.

The install that I referred to in this thread has so far gone OK. We just added SP1 after the install.

If you have SU05 and SUS501, SUS502, SUS503, SUS504, and SUS505, you'll be able to load successfully. Just make sure they're all on the root of D: before you start your install.

You may get an error as it tries to install these, since it may try to install the next before finishing the previous. Just click "retry" and all will proceed.

Of course, since SU06 is now out, it incorporates the 2003 SP 1 fix in it.
