I have a symbol netvison WiFi voip handset that I have connected to the definity.

I can make internal calls within the local PBX, but if any calls go outside the PBX using ARS or AAR they fail. If the call is setup using the TAC rather than AAR or ARS then the call is successful.

The following is a trace of a call that fails.
17:36:18 dial 8684
17:36:18 term trunk-group 29 cid 0x17a
17:36:18 denial event 1627: Out trk seize dgt invld D1=0x63 D2=0x17a

Anyone has any ideas no matter how silly I would be plase to here them.

Cheers

Matt

Hi Themoogy

Check the COR of ur IP phone and then check the FRL associated with it.

This FRL should be equal to or higher than the FRL of the route which it takes when it tries to seize the trunk.

To view the FRL of the route do a "disp route XX".

Robonix.........

FRL is 0 fro that COR and the FRL of the router pattern is 0 also. The H323 station has the same cor and cos as any other sation on the switch and they all can dial either vie ars or aar.

We have a bit of a update to this problem

If you add a # to then end of the number you are dialing on the Wifi phone. the call goes through without any problems.

I know the # is all to do with simulated end of dialing. Does anyone know a way round this ?

Cheers
