Symantec Partition Magic 8.0 won't work under VISTA

We have used PQ since its OS/2-only days. Currently we have a notebook which came with XP Media Edition and a free upgrade to VISTA. While still running XP we partitioned the harddrive with PQ and all was well. We then upgraded to VISTA and now need to change the size of one of the partitions. Unfortunately, P.Q. 8.0 (the latest available version) will not work under Vista. Went to the Symantec Website and learned that there is no way to upgrade P.Q. to run under VISTA.

Is there any other way/s to resize the partitions under VISTA WITHOUT damaging the content already on the partition/s. P.Q. is really a good product, both simple and safe to use. Is there anything else out there?

(As an aside, searching the Symantec Website it becomes quite apparent that Symantec is making close to zero effort to make upgrades to VISTA available for download.)

Vista has a built in partition software that works well for me so far. I have Vista Ultimate, not sure if all Vista versions have this ability, I will try to research this and post back

Not sure about Vista Home Basic, but from what I find, all the other versions include this software.

a partition manager that does work with VISTA is
Partition Commander 10
