When trying to install Symantec Endpoint Protection on my laptop, it got most of the way through the installation process and then started rolling back. This machine did previously have it installed but was taken off for various reasons. I have deleted all files relating to Symantec in:
C:\Program Files
C:\Program Files\Common Files
C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Application Data

Does anyone know how i can stop this process from rolling back?

Thanks Guys!!

You might try Cleanwipe - the tool provided by Symantec support - to remove all the files and clean up the registry. There are manual removal documents available from Symantec but registry edits can be a challenge if you aren't comfortable doing them. I haven't seen the standard uninstall work properly yet.

We had a similar problem with Windows 7 machines. We had their support show us and fix it. End Point hasn't played well with 7 so far.
