Hi All!

I've been getting a weird event logged by Symantec this morning followed by an email message that said "Symantec AVF detected a message with an unscannable attachment in your mailbox"

Event - Failed to quarantine attachment named "Message Body" in message with subject "ACT! Sync" in "Administrator".

The subject ACT! Sync is a sync file sent by our CRM program. It shouldn't quatantine those items? I'm quite worried about this problem. can someone please shed some light over here...
TIA

Looks like i may have exclude this from SAV. i'm not sure whether i should go ahead and do that.

Also, I also noticed a email sent with one of my documents attached. Dont know who sent this message. I first thought it could be spam but then the document name does exist and its on the desktop. i'm sure no other staff used this machine to send those mails. Norton has logged those messages as "unscannable item" and should place it in quarantine (as per the policy setting). i dont find them in the quaratine.

this is the message i get on the email.

Location of the message: Administrator/Sent Items
Sender of the message: Administrator
Subject of the message: ACT! Sync
The attachment Message Body was Denied Access.

Any help pls?!?

All problem solved by restarting the server.
