symantec antivirus scan engine licences

I need 1 licence per node or client.
If I buy 10 licences, is it to say I can install the product on 10 servers with a specific key attached to each serial nb

I wonder if each installation comming with a registration key is dependent of the number of mail in the particular case of a Email server calling the product with a DLL interface or a command line.
