I have 8 users that are mapped to one of our W2K servers. Our environment consist of both Novell and W2K servers so, no AD. When I first mapped the drive to the client's workstation, I set up a local user on the server and entered in their current Novell and Workstation passwords. We have a password policy change every 45 days. When the users change their password, the mapped drive password goes out of sync. Is there a way to synchronize mapped drive password to Novell and Workstation?

Why aren't you running AD? Maybe there's something I missed in your description of your network. I've run mixed networks with few problems beyond keeping passwords synchronized. If your users were logged on to a Microsoft domain, this wouldn't be a problem.

We are running NDS with no working AD. We plan on implementing a working AD next year due to Exchange 2003 upgrade from 5.5 so, for now, I have to work around it.
