SX2K SW level for 4000 series

I've been away from Mitel for along time so please be gentle

I am working on upgrading an old SX2K Light to an ICP3300. I've been told that COV sets are no longer supported on the ICP, so I've been preparing to migrate them to SS4025/4150. Hoever, the DNI asignments won't recognize a SS4000.

The SX2K is currently running MS2008-F-NA-00, Edition SX.P24.5.5

Perhaps I need an intermediate upgrade to enable the SS4000 sets?

Wow....a bit of a jump there going from P stream to a 3300.. I would say you should upgrade the 2k to at LEAST LightWare 32 first, there's LOTS of changes in between and having a more current 2k database will make the migration to 3300 MUCH easier.

you need q stream for 4000 series sets P only supports 400 series. Q45 is what you need but you need a new moss sheet and possibly a new hard drive. You need to look at the requirements as you need extended file system.
