sx2000 to 3300

Im upgrading an sx2000 to a 3300. the sx2000 has a PRI card. Will i need to upgrade this card via IMAT? Also are there any pit falls i should be aware of as i don't know the sx2000 to well?

Possibly. What software version is currently on the SX2K today? If the 2K is at anything prior to LW33 and assuming the 3300 will be at rls 7 or higher, then yes.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED: download the PRI 8.2.1.7 release notes and read, read and read.

Note: 3300 Rls 7.0 docs are the last docs to include any reference to the SX2K peripheral node and DSU node. If the PRI card is prior to ISDN 7.3 it will not have an IP address and you'll need to jump through some hoops to do the PRI card upgrade. This is all included in the release note document referenced above.

Thanks for your help. I will read that document. In IMAT the latest PRI is 8.2 so hopefully i can connect via serial and just do a simple database conversion.
