SX2000 Paging - Problems continue!

Hi ~

I have an E&M card configured for paging. It's setup as a Loudspeaker Card and I have the 4 zones (1-4) set.

When I use the "Page" key programmed on a phone it shows "Ringing" but then nothing happens. It never connects and I never reach the system. It seems to be getting close as I can see the light on the E&M card go on for the zone I dial, but still nothing.

Any ideas?

We run E&M cards for our over head paging but the cards are always set as E&M. We reference the digits dialed in ARS and point it to the E&M trunk. If you need more help let me know. Jack

I was having a similar problem (ring n/a) and it turned out to be the Lorain box that sits between the sound system to the Mitel. I was troubleshooting the board. Check to make sure your connector is up and running. Mine was a loose wire! Good luck...Ln
