Have a SX200 AX 5.0 system where the customer is wanting to be able to press a single key to access their speedcalls (abbreviated dialing)

This feature is available in the 3300, 5000, Avaya, ect. but Mitel Tech Support couldn't get *24 to program behind a speedcall key, even though Mitel Systems Engineering says you can do it.

Has anyone successfully done this?

it is the * the system doesn't like when you program against a key on a phone

Thanks, I'll try that tomorrow AM

Actually it will work if you input as **24

Speedcalls have lots of * codes so if you want to dial a * you need **
