SX-50 question

I know this is an oldie but my cd of the software would not even load on my XP laptop, anyone know how to change the programming from a ground start trunk to a loop start???

first the hardware switch must be changed on the trunk card and then in programing commands 501-580 (depending which slot your trunk card is located) register 2 bit g, 0= loop and 1= ground

The sx 50 does not have a switch on the trunk card, I think you are remembering the old analog 200's.

The option bit is all that is required on the 50.

right you are, I was actually thinking of the SX-20

Thanks for the tip, I didn't think the sx50 had dip switches on the card, just could'nt remember the command #
