SX 50 1 ext lock

A customer with a SX 50 is having trouble with 1 ext, when ever they call ext 141 the console display shows ext lock. Can anyone tell me how to clear? It has been working then some thing changed and the lock display shows up. Any help will be appreciated.

this could be "station locked" which means the switch thinks the station has been off hook waiting for dial tone too long. It may have brought an alarm into the console also, as an example "A 85 XXXX LOCKED OUT 02/01, where XXXX is the equipment number, 02 is a sample card slot and 01 is a sample station. This could be a faulty set or wiring.
Question, can the station make calls ok?

If it is station locked, does it have a headset?

This is the most common reason for station locked.

hotel/motel or business application?

This ext is the hotel kitchen ext and can call out fine but can't be called and as I said befor the display on the console shows lock. No headset used on the phone.

check the room status of that station if that option is in its cos. this is done from the console.

I have checked the room status and it is the same as other exts that are working ok.

if no lock out alarms then try deleting from program and entering in again. I thought it may be locked out or setup as out of service but if it looks the same as all the rest then try above as something and lets go from there. Also try a *32

if it is a wall mount set, check to see if the handset is staying hung up. it may slip back enough to go off hook
