SX-200 ICP Internal 512 Compact Flash

I want to upgrade a system to be able to use the 5340 as a sub-attendant for a Hotel.

I know I need the 512 internal flash to support the 5340 sets.

Mitel is back-ordered until May and charges over $200 for the priviledge of waiting.

Historically, it has been inadvisable to use 256 Compact Flash cards that were not obtained from Mitel.

Has anyone tried using a store bought 512 (or higher) Compact flash card and had it work?

I have used a 512 and it worked. Get a good quality one like Sandisk is what I used.

why not use the one in the machine? careful with the quick format however.

NO GOOD DEED GOES UNPUNISHED!

NYTalkin, The one in the machine is 256. I thought that would be obvious.

Pandabear, you've used a 512 but you didn't say if you got it from Mitel or not. I am looking for someone who has tried to use a NON-MITEL 512. Is this the case for you?

Cool, Thanks.

Before I commit myself down this path, is there anyone else that has had this work?
