Is there a way to download the traffic reports remotely and/or automatically?

On the SX2000 you can use the "TYPE" command from the maintenance screen. As my aging memory recalls the command syntax is something like this:

type *.traffic.2006JUL251000

In the above example we would be dumping the traffic logs for July 25, 2006 for the 9A to 10A hour. The systax requires military time, 0000 thru 2400, inclusive.

This also assumes you have traffic reporting enabled for the time period you're interested in.

Thanks for the reply,

I have done the type *.traffic.2006JUL251000 command and that works great for manual use. I'm looking for a way to this automatically. I was hoping there is a way to script a file transfer from the SX-2000 to a server(unix/linux), because you are going to know what the file names will be since they are standard. I have watched OPSMAN do a software upgrade and I know the SX-2000 and OPSMAN server can upload and download file to each other. I would assume it is just knowing a little unix and SX-2000 commands.

Oh well, just looking for a cheap way to do this.
