currently have sx 2000 ,calls coming into system are going to wrong extn's, ie: incoming 6212 ends up phone 7184, but sporadic, not always, forwarding good , rerouting all good, have changed csm, mcc, t1, cards, directory all good.any one have any suggestions?

What type of incoming numbers does the system use.. DID, AutoAttendant? If DID what kind of facility is used?

Please provide more detail.

i have t1, with did's,no auto attendant turned on, just mailboxes for each did.

Any errors on the T1, especially timing slips? That could conceivably cause misread DNIS digits.

No slips on t1, running clean, think i have mitel help desk puzzled too, there is no order or any thing to trouble, all is random, send in digits goes wherever it wants, hardly ever same place twice , like 75% of time get wrong person ,then , bam get correct person, very strange, have c.o. monitoring t1, see correct digits going in , but ends up elsewhere.Ever hear of them getting a virus? not sure if possible.

Very odd. Other than a totally messed up system, only other thing might be bad DTMF receivers. Corrupted database is more likely tho. Good luck!

Thanks Harris, i am quite stumped on this one also, took time find out where dtmf recievers were, are in peripheral cabinets control card, may end up changing few effected cabinets see what happens, i do have an awful lot of did blocks aimed at one t1 will see if can split onto other 3 , system is not clustered either so am not sure make big diff, checked data bases seem alright, is also very strange i get no faults or alrms or any thing . Will see how mitel help does any way. lol. Chow

Did the CO say what type of monitoring they are performing?

Do you have any DS1 test equipment like a channel access testset where you can monitor each channel's audio to see if the digits sent from the CO are what you are receiving?

Are the number of digits sent to the SX2000 correct?

Besides testing the DTMF receivers, are there any DS1 tests that can be performed on the SX2000?

Hang tight buddy, we are a Mitel shop and I am running this by an engineer. I will post a response for you shortly.
