go to form 1 and either scroll down or I believe it is esc 7 and enter 7 then 1 to see if bay 7 is a phantom or not, there is another way to do this but this works for ICP or EL, see if a card is in the installed column against bay 7 slot 1

Hey. Yup it says under the 'Programmed' heading "ONS LINE CARD" and under 'Comments' it says "Phantom".

To answer your previous question.... I'm in North Bay, Ontario, Canada. Eastern time here...

Phone system still working awesome today.... I was going to post a screen shot but my ISP FTP doesn't seem to be working all too well at the moment....

so what you are seeing is normal for a phantom bay depending on the usage of the ports. Does the customer know anything about dialing these numbers?
If all is working ok (if not broke don't fix it) we should maybe leave alone. If you want to spend the time finding the reason for these numbers we could. Let me know.
So under the installed heading there is nothing for that bay and card?

Here we go, got it uploaded now...
I wonder if these are somehow used for Voicemail?? hrmm... Everything seems normal though. Maybe I should just leave it alone.

Also, this isn't for a customer. I'm the techy guy for this office and it's our phone system. My boss said she doesn't know what the numbers are for and she's the one who knows the most about how this system operates. (she was here @ initial setup. I kinda just came in here and didn't get the password till last week, etc...)

sometimes in the comments field of form 9 for 2016 and was it 2021, I try to do this to help the next guy. It is a good guess used for vmail. What are you asking in the last paragraph?

I was just asking if they may be for voicemail... I'll take a look at form 9 a bit later. Have to go help some people out.

the Q interflow could be out of an ACD path form 41, if you look in form 41 and there could be mulitiple paths, so look in all, near the bottom of the form is an entry for "interflow point", lets look there and we will go from there. As far as 2021 not sure but go to form 14 and see if you see that extension under day, N1 or N2, if not we will look elswhere.
Good luck

Yup, wasn't there.

I know what I just did is probably frowned upon from someone with your skill, but I found out what 2021 does at least.

So the question still remains.... should it be "busy-out"?

Like I don't know if this "admin" is even used in the first place. I will talk it over with my boss and show her the screenshot to see what she has to say.

Well bad news, my boss doesn't know what it's for.

I'm thinking here. Could it be possible that when people log in their phones that this 2021 is just an internal dialing-in pool or something to get connected with them?

I guess that would make sense that it's busied out then, and as it is right now when I dial 2021 on my phone (with nobody logged in), then it just goes to VM (ext 7000).

Do you know what I mean? I know my message looks confusing. Tried to clean it up as good as I could...

just for info, you can go to form 35 and see every number in the switch, to save yourself time you could go to form 32 and capture the whole board and use search function to find 2021. It is ok that 2021 shows busyout as the bay does not exist and this is normal

Excellent, thanks again pandabear1!! I've learned alot in the last couple days.

I'll check out those forms for sure.

Take it easy,

Pierre.
