Hi:
I have two ML/EL pbx's (LW19) physically separated by 12". I want to tie them via (ANALOG/copper) E&M modules via Universal card back to back without central office involvement. Can I do this? I have tested both sides, but can't get digits to fly on the voice pairs. I've tried 2W and 4W, as well as Type I and type V switch settings on the module. I have ARS setup and see the E&M respond, but get External Busy on the the display of the telephone. If I swap the connection to E-M and M-E (crossover), both modules light up, but time out with no pass of call. I see the name of the tie circuit come up on the telephone display, but then the call drops. What am I missing? ARS is set to digit string 67 to route to trunk group 50 (tie), modify digits tables and associated descriptors are all built out. Looking for the older guys who have done this. Severe budget constraints, so T1 or IP not viable, especially IP as infrastructure sucks in area.
Thanks
Steve M.
