sx-200 ICP 5.0.1.11 / Embedded VoiceMail

I know this is an easy one but still i am having an issue. I have a user who wants to use personal contacts to reach his cell phone. I set this up on the 3300 with no issues but am having a problem with the 200 ICP. After choosing option 2 the call will divert back to the users greeting after 4 seconds. Account code length matches the extension number length. Voicemail COS has all trunk to trunk options enabled. I know i am missing something but don't know what. Any help before I call tech support would be appreciated.

do you have form 4 option 122 enabled
in form 49 "personal contact numbers" enabled
this is a starting point

Did you program it in the CDE or through the users mailbox? Do not program 9 for an outside line.

"For external numbers, omit the digit that is normally dialed to access an outside line. The system dials the digit automatically."

Also is the personal contacts enabled in form 49?

from the docs, have all these steps been completed?

To set up Personal Contact Numbers by telephone:
1. Access your mailbox.
2. Press 8 for User Options.
3. Press 2 for Change Notification
4. Press 2 for Personal Contact Numbers.
5. Follow the prompts to assign your numbers.
Note: For external numbers, omit the digit that is normally dialed to access an outside line. The system dials the digit automatically.
6. Re-record your greeting to include prompts for the new numbers that you assigned.
To set up Personal Contact Numbers via CDE programming:
1. In Form 03, (COS Define), enable options 313 to 319 to allow trunk-to-trunk connections.
2. In Form 04 (System Options/System Timers), enable option 122, Voice mail License for Personal Contact Numbers.
3. In Form 30 (Device Interconnection), allow trunk-to-trunk interconnection.
3. In Form 49 (Voice Mail Options), enable Personal Contact Numbers.
4. In Form 50 (Mailboxes), select a mailbox to program, and then press the CONTACTS softkey.
Note: Personal Contact Numbers can be assigned to extension, guest and front desk type mailboxes only.
5. Assign telephone numbers to keys as required. For external numbers, include the ARS leading digit(s) required to access an outside line.
6. Repeat for other extensions.
7. Press the QUIT softkey when done.
8. Re-record your greeting to include prompts for the new numbers that you assigned.

The voicemail and trunks need to be capable of unsupervised conferencing.

COS Options for trunk to trunk
COR options for VM outdial
Interconnect restrictions (form 30)

Set up a phone with the same COR and COS as the VM and try to transfer an external call to another external call.

What's most important is that you realise ... There is no spoon.

I believe in the 3300 you do not have to include the ARS leading digit. I did not have 9 in my dial string in the mailbox contact number.

Actually the full dialled digits are required for all Mitel systems including any leading digits such as 9.

Thanks for letting us know what solved it. It helps us to help others.
