Anyone know of a way to migrate the database of an SX-200(not sure exactly which model it is yet) to a MiVoice(3300 ICP)?

Thanks

Hahaha!!! I like that one: stare and compare!!

Just wait until you do it.

An apple a day keeps the doctor away. Anyone else and you need to throw it harder.

If you have a standard setup for a 3300, it's easy, you just create the extensions to match.

If you want all the feature codes to match, you are in for a bad time.

To answer the original question I know of no easy method of transferring an SX200 database to a 3300. The best I would think is using the 3300 import spreadsheet tool if you can get the data from the SX200 in a format that you can cut out of and paste into the 3300 spreadsheet.

Using form 35 capture the database with Procomm Plus. Then you can use Word to cut forms like form 9 to a text file and use Excel to convert the text file to a .cxv file. Lastly, use LoopyLou's suggestion to paste data into the 3300 form and import. I do this all the time and can program about 60% of the data, even Multiline Set Keys.

@ SXWizard, I believe you meant form 32

Also, Procomm writes directly to a text file. Using word to "convert" the file will introduce word formatting you do not want or need.

You can then paste the text directly to Excel and use the Text to columns function to separate the data into usable data.

go to form 32 through say Procomm and get form 9, it can come out as a text file, open Excel and bring the text file into it, then import that file into the MCD will save you doing the extension part
