SX 200 AX Voice mail not responding when call is not answered 1

I have a sx200 ax controller , the customer is not using PMS , I am having trouble with calls being returned to operator instead of voicemail. THis is a new installation, My third one. System is not on site yet but when I call into the system and transfer the call to a room that is set to Occupied the call rings about 4 times then I hear the AA say that the call is being sent to the operator. It should go to the guest room voice mail. I have checked to see if the ext has guest VM , it does. I have checked the CAll Routing and it looks right. I Have it pointed to the Vmail HG access code. I m at a loss as I need to have this fixed and running by tues to start the install.

Be sure that the voicemail boxes are set to CHECKED IN state. We always have to do it once from the console or sub-attendant.

I suppose you're entitled to your opinion, I'm just not going to suppose very hard.
 
I found out what it was I think I didn't have a front Desk mail box
 
n8is, you're on the right track. You have to check in the guest room voice mailbox using a front desk mailbox.
