I have a customer that has a sx-20 and the console will not ring , the fan doesnt work, and when I call in it rings 3 times and goes to a dial tone. I have tried replacing the trunk card, but it doesnt change the symptoms. Does anyone have clue what might be wrong. Thanks

- Can you gain access to the programming? Verify that programming is still intact.
- Can you call internally to other sets?
- Was there a power surge/ outage lately?
- Possible that the system has over heated if the fan doesn't work... and the system might be defaulted.

Do you have a back up or a kermit print out of the system?

You can call internally, and out by dialing 99. There had been a power surge several weeks ago the customer told me, and they had just been shutting the system down themselves. Then it stopped all but letting you dial out. I do not have a back up or a spare.
