Dear all,

We have just removed our last NT4 server. I am now in a position to change to native mode; however before I hit the button I just wanted to see if there are any issues I may have missed.

Can you let me know of any issues you have had after switching modes?

We are planning on adding 2003 DC's so I understand it needs to be done anyway...

Many thanks

If you have removed all legacy NT4 servers you should be good to go though you may want to ensure that you do not have any client PCs Win9x, NT that are still on your network since they will require the AD client in order to be able to authenticate.
Hope this helps.

Sorry, that's not true.

"As I mentioned earlier, native mode doesn’t support NT domain controllers; you can only have Win2K domain controllers. However, you can have NT workstations and member servers in native mode." - excerpt from (You may need to have a subscription to view the entire article - but it's a FANTASTIC magazine that ANY windows admin should have a subscription to).
