Hi, I'm intending in implementing failover configuration in my network.
So I need to know should the Switches connected to the PIXs should be CISCO Switches or can I use any other brand ?

Hello,
You can use any brand name of switch. Just as long as the Pix and the Pix Failover Corresponding interfaces are hooked into the same subnet. For example if your interface eth1 on your Pix is going out side with a address 68.xxx.24.5, than your Pix Failover eth1 should be going out side with a address that is available for you like 68.xxx.24.6. Same way on your other interfaces.
