When starting my Access-database today, the switchboard didn´t function anymore. Using problemsolving the following problem appeared on my screen in the program Visual Basic:

Set con = Application.CurrentProject.Connection.

Visual Basic is a new programme for me and I don´t know how to handle is. My question therefore:
which functions do I have to place in the Set con to make my switchboard functioning again.

Thanks,
Maarten

Hi

There is nothing intrinsicaly wrong with the statement. It could be that the ADO library is not referenced, it could be that the variable con is not Dimmed... ...etc

It would help greatly if you quoted the wording of the error message.

"the switchboard didn´t function anymore. " is not really very helpful

This feature or method is not supported by this object

thanks in advance

Excuse me, I made a mistake in regard to my previous post.

The error message is as follows:

Fault -2147221164 (80040154) during execution

I hope this helps.
