I've worked with switchboard manager is Access 2002 with no problems, however recently when working with it in Access 1997 I cannot get it to work properly. I keep coming up with an error: Compile Error, Method or data member not found.

I'm not sure what I am doing wrong since I am following it step by step via the switchboard manager option under Add-In's.

Any ideas?

Is it possible that one of the items that your switchboard points to got deleted?

No, I have been reading some stuff out here and actually see where others have had similar problem. Currently I had to change: Dim rst As Recordset with
Dim rest as DAO.Recordset

however, I cannot find the place in access 97 like in 2002 where you can Alt+F11, tool, references and make sure DAO3.6 Object file is selected.

That is not an option for me in 97....still stumped

Ctrl+G tools, references.

Alright, with this same database, I am trying now to import a form (created with a tabbed control), and it will not let me import it without shutting down Windows on me.

I've been able to import other forms into the datbase, but not my tabbed one. Would there be any reason for this?

Have you tried "compiling" the database and then Compacting it (to the database with the problem form)?
