switch to/retry in mts

Hi
I am using VB6 and Oracle as database. Middle layer is MTS. Whenever
the system runs complex queries or large amount of data has to be
accessed, User get a message
"Swith to or Retry".
user has to press retry for couple of times, then gets the
output.
It doesn't do in all options. Only when the report becomes
really big or query is too complicated.
User is willing to wait for few more miniutes. But this message
bugs him.
How to avoid this message? System should automatically do the
retry until the MTS component returns the value.
Anybody expreienced this problem? How to solvet it?

Hi!

You must be having this problem when you click on the application while your processing is going on and application is busy.
This is always happens if you component takes long time
for processing.
Solution can be increase the RAM, also check other hardware
aspects.

I get the same thing, I think it's a bug in VB. In my case, I'm in debug, testing my app, when I copy some text from the Immediate window, and paste it into an email or text file. Afterwards, VB is hosed and all I get is the "Switch To or Retry" message. Have to kill the process, sometimes losing work I've done (but hadn't saved yet).

no this problem is the code problem....u r not releasing the objects in the components or u may be passing collections or byref variables(pass as byval)...the problem is solved........try out
