Hi everyone,
There is a dedicated layer 2 switch requires for my Forigate firewalls High Availability (please see attachment). I am wondering if can I use our current layer 3 switch (cisco 3750), grouping 4 ports which are available and make it like a small 4-port switch? This 4-port switch just does a broadcasting to detect if the active firewall down then switch to the passive one.
Thanks in advance.

Yes,
create a new dedicated VLAN
don't put an IP address on the VLAN interface
put all four ports as Access ports in that VLAN.
Don't use the VLAN anywhere else.
