G'day

I am brand new here, so you might have to bear with me.

I'm looking at incorporating a main menu like that used in nhl.com. I've looked at the script and found "Switchnews" in the code, but cannot find it anywhere on the web.

Is anyone here able to either point me in the direction of a tutorial, or explain how I might be able to replicate it ? If I can copy the code, and simply change the image locations, that would be cool

Cheers
Damian

Personally, I'd avoid using images for navigation. It simply isn't necessary, and text-based navigation would add far less to your overall page weight.

There are many good menus available, such as the "Son of Suckerfish" menu available here:

The advantage of this is also that it works without JavaScript, but is enhanced if you happen to have JavaScript enabled.

Hope this helps,
Dan

Thanks for the advice Dan however I already have a main menu on my site as well.

I should have explained myself more clearly. The imaged based "menu" is more for the latest news items that change regularly, as opposed to the main menu that stays the same always.

I was just looking to give is a bit of flair I suppose.

If you or anyone else have any more suggestions, please feel free

Cheers
