I have a layout table next to a layout cell.
The layout table has a popup menu inside it and the layout cell is empty but does have a background image. This all works perfectly when previewed in the browser.
However when I add a Shockwave animation into the Layout Cell and preview the page, the animation overlaps the submenu of the popup so you can't see the sub-headings and therefore click the links to navigate to the next page.

Is there any way of putting the animation behind the popup sub menu so when you roll over the link it shows the sub-menu on top of the animation?
Hope this makes sense and thanks for any help in advance.

how about placing the animation in a layer and either moving or hidding it when you click the menu

The thing is the table in which the cell is in is centred along with the other cells, so all the content no matter what resolution you have the screen it will remain centred. If I was to put the animation in a layer it would not shift with the rest of the site.
There must be a way of putting that cell or the SWF behind the others, order wise. Almost like a send to back option.

well it can be done with javascript -- ive seen the script before but cannot remember where -- try dynamicdrive.com or dhtmlcentral.com or check in the flash forum and do a keyword search

it can be done -- i have seen it maybe over a year ago
