swapping pictures on my main page.

I want to be able to take three or four pictures on my main page and swap them. That it, the page will load with picture 1, then that picture will change to picture two after so many seconds, then picture 3, and so on...

What am I needing to do here?

Either javascript it with a timer, or make an animated gif, or flash anaimation, whatever works best for the situation.

Sometimes, when my code just won't behave, I take it outside and make it listen to britney spears music, and when it comes back it's really well behaved. I wonder if it's suffering from post tramatic stress syndrome now..

Javascript doesn't require anything like flash does(flash player) right?

Can you make this right in dreamweaver? or will you have to build the script and import it?

you need to add the script manually, there is no component in DW to do it for you. Dynamic Drive have several slideshow script
