obviously I will use the extra 2 ports.

Should I move the next two ports or re-arrange the ports all to the end of the 1A comb, or put the two new ports as the next ones to ports 1 & 2, and moving the phones to different ports before adding the CP to their former locations?

Or any other suggestions?

I am hoping to back up the CP 100 and then restore to the CP 150...can that be done?

Doesn't matter where the 2 ports are, I'd prefer all on the KSU. I heard you can just move the card over and be off and running, but wait for verification.

The PCMIA card. It has all programming. Theoritically, no reprogramming would need to occur. But, wait for ex to back me up.

Remember, this is a CP 100 moving to CP 150. 40 mail in CP100 96 mail in CP 150

I will wait to hear back from you

I'd be very leery of putting the card from the CP100 into the CP150 because you have 96 mailboxes in the CP150. I've seen these things lose keycodes and default back to 10 or 20 mailboxes. You're probably OK if you still have the keycodes to reload in the CP150 if something goes wrong.

The 150 card will work in the 100 but I don't think the 100 card will work in a 150. not sure about the back-up and restore though fromm a 100 to a 150.

Not quite the reassurance we we're looking for.

The card holds same software for both 100 and 150.
All depeneds on the extras if programmed.

If you have 96 available in the 150 then you are best to start programming from scratch. presuming you were trying to get away with re-programming 40 mail boxes?.
Should only take under 30 minutes via Browser to complete that.

My experience with these tells me that you should be able to put the PCMIA card from the Call Pilot 100 into the Call Pilot 150 & be good to go with all programming intact.
Let us know what the outcome was!!!!!

I think I will back in up and then try swapping cards.

After reviewing the information on the two respective cards

Didn't swap. Re-entered the accounts and the OGM.

Was worried that I might lose the 96 seats somehow.
