SV9300 Setup Parallel call and pickup call

Hi All,

I'm new with NEC PABX system and today I was handed this job where I must setup parallel call (1 ext number on 2 or more phones that can ring together whenever a call comes in) and pickup call (when a call comes in to next desk, we can pick it up using our own phone).
How do I go about it? I have the PCPro and minimal knowledge of programming.

You want parallel ring feature in digital phone or analog phones?

I should have been more clear, I need them for digital (IP) phones.

Create virtual extension

(I didn't see that this is a (9300. This is how it would work for a 9100 or 2100 anyways)


IF both are official nec multi line phones
15-07 set a unused extension key (doesn't have to correspond to a physical key) to either one of the extensions, or to a virtual extension
15-09 set that button to ring in the desired modes

Otherwise

20-63
SEt the pilot to an unused number, or to one of the member extensions
set all member extensions

If calls are always coming from outside
22-04 assign extensions to a ring group
Check if the trunk is assing to DIL or DID in 22-02
If DIL, set 22-07 for the trunk to that ring group number
IF DID, set the DID entry in 22-11. Set transfer target 1 to your ring group. Set transfer target 2 to 102. (Voicemail). In Target, configure the extension voicemails will end up at by prefixing with an @. Ex. if the extension that will receive voicemails is 250, set @250
